These encounters involve examinations, observation, follow-up after treatment, or screening. Some concern people without a complaint or reported diagnosis; others follow a suspected condition that was ruled out.
Z00 groups general examinations by whom or what is examined, including adults, children, and potential organ donors. Z01 separates special examinations by their focus, such as vision, hearing, or blood pressure.
